General Purpose of the Role
Works as a specialist in product or technology program in HW design and integration. Works under general direction and interprets internal/external business issues and recommended best practice in own discipline. Advises, guides and gives input to engineering community in specific research or technology area.

Main Responsibility Areas / Key Tasks
Play a key role in the EMC area to develop Smartphone. Responsibilities include:
1.Works closely with cross-functional members to understand & fulfill product architectures and requirements.
2.Develop EMC design requirements , test plan, test method and setup.
3.Optimize schematics, PWB placement, routing and conduct testing to validate all EMC goals are met.
4.Support partner assessment, certification, type approval, mass production, and field testing.
5.Create design guidelines; define world-class processes in specifications and procedures; guide and coach  junior level engineers.
6.Other duties as assigned.


1.Master or PhD in EMC or related discipline, with at least 8 years hands-on design experience in mobile industry.
2.Ability to simultaneously investigate multiple efficient and cost effective methods to solve complex issues.
3.Demonstrated capability with test system and equipment such as EMI receiver, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, current probe, etc. Familiarity with a variety of software modeling tools is a plus.
4.Understand in depth of international EMC standards, e.g. EN, CE, FCC, CISPR, ETSI, etc. Additional experience in Radio, Safety and Regulatory Certifications is a plus.
5.Project experiences from concept study to mass production & maintenance.
6.Excellent cross-functional and collaborative team skills.
7.Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
